Rules and Regulations :
Before joining the tournament, please read the following rules and guidelines. Applying or joining the tournament means you agree and will follow the rules we set.
For Your Information :
The competition is open for all school, college, university students.
Last Date of registration is 5th February 2019
- The competition will start from 3-5 May 2019
- Last time of check-in on the venue is 10:00 am
- All the teams must submit the bot to the organizing committee by 11:30 am
- The competition will start at 11:00 pm sharp
- The whole schedule will be published on 5th March 2019
Competition Overview :
A robot has to follow a line under various conditions (e.g. round corners, sharp corners, crossover bridges, seesaw, loops, etc.) Points will be rewarded on the basis of checkpoints crossed, distance cover, speed and the way of handling the conditions. There will be 2 rounds. First Round, and the Final Round. Each round will have a mystery box which will be disclosed before the competition starts.
Competition Rules :
Before the competition starts, you have to submit the robot to the organizing committee .
Participants can use the pit-stop area (practice track) in an orderly manner to check the condition of the robot.
Each team has only 1 representative in the competition arena.
The Robot must follow the line without any human intervention.
No Wireless communication or external data feed to the robot will be allowed.
The Robot must go through all the checkpoints to complete the race. If any Bot cannot finish the whole track, then the bot will be scored according to the distance covered, checkpoints reached and the way of handling the conditions of the track.
Only 5 attempts/restarts are authorized
Nudging/Pushing or any type of manual handling of the robot will lead to cancellation of that run.
3 minutes will be given to each team for calibrating their sensors on the track before their first run.
The race is complete if the robot has been declared finish or decided not to be able to continue the race by the jury.
Participants are required (may) place the robot at the last checkpoint position hereinafter called reset with the following conditions:
The robot cannot find the line or exit the track.
The robot takes the wrong direction.
Robot stops for more than 5 seconds.
Participating teams are always responsible for the safety of their robots and liable for any loss, theft, and damage caused by their team members or their robots
Participants are not allowed to replace the power supply (batteries) and any spare parts while competing.
Each team will be given 2 trials out of which the best time will be considered by the jury.
General Rules :
Insults and unfair or disrespectful behavior towards anyone will not be tolerated and will be punished accordingly.
Interrupting other participants while they are in a match will lead the other team to a penalty
If the team member wishes to touch the robot after the robot starts from the start line, a 5 second penalty will be levied.
Participants are requested to bring all the parts or necessary materials which they will need during the competition.
Once a robot has crossed the starting line it must remain fully autonomous, or it will be disqualified.
By attending the competition participants acknowledge without limitation to comply with the rules and regulations and with the decisions made by the organizers
Modifications or abolition of the rules can be made by the competition committee as long as they are published prior to the event and are consistently maintained throughout the event.
Judges decision will be final and no objections will be accepted against their decisions.
Every team accepts the official schedule of the competition and declares its ability to be available during these times
Scoring System will be published after the last date of registration.

We urge all the participants to cooperate so that we all together can host a fair competition among all. Our best efforts will be there to make it happen with your all in all support.
Participants are late in the arena (maximum 5 minute after being called) will be disqualified
If you cannot cooperate with the delays or technical issues (if occurs) then we request you not to register.
Arena dimension will be 15 feet * 10 feet.
Line width will be 2.5-3 cm throughout the track with the possibility of some error.
There will be 1 Mystery box in each round which might have a bridge, Line less path, Seesaw, loops, etc.
There will be small Yellow lines in all three tracks to mark the checkpoints
Yellow marks are there to highlight the checkpoints
Robot Specification :
The robot must be a ground wheeled vehicle.
Max Dimension in cm: 20*15*20
Weight 3kg Maximum.
Power: Maximum 24 volts onboard power supply.
Metal wheeled robots are not allowed. Wheels must be rubberized.
The robot must not damage the surface of the track.
The robot must have a working and easily accessible on/off switch. Connecting and disconnecting the batter to perform this function is unacceptable.
Robots can be oriented with the room lighting conditions that have been determined by the jury, including the camera flash (unless that is stated disturbing according to the jury).
No construction sets such as LEGO or Meccano is allowed.
Each team must bring its own power supply, charger or an extra battery for the robot. No additional equipment/parts will be supplied.
